At BJAB, we have long embraced a no-phone policy, ensuring a focused, engaged and socially connected learning environment. This aligns with our Mobile Device Policy, which balances the benefits of technology with clear guidelines to promote safe, responsible and distraction-free use for both students and staff.

Importantly, our policy applies to everyone—staff included—because we know that role modelling is key. "They cannot have [their phones] on show in their classroom. In our view, they have a key role model effect and otherwise, it’s a case of 'don’t do what I do, do what I say'."

As more schools take steps to limit screen time, we are proud to be part of this movement. BJAB will keep fostering learning spaces where students can truly thrive!
