Application to our international school

Admission to the international school BJAB

Pupils are admitted to the British Junior Academy of Brussels :

  • in the term in which they are three years old for entry into the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • pupils begin their formal education in Reception Class in the term in which they are five years old.
  • All pupils are required to be registered in line with the school’s admission policy.

A place at the BJAB may be offered following an interview with the Head Teacher. An application form is completed and submitted, and the school invoices parents according to the BJAB Schedule of Fees. Payment of the invoice allows a place to be reserved for a specific entry date. Registration fees and Deposit are non-refundable if a place is not taken up within the designated period.

Under the Curriculum, the pupils’ education goes through phases, known as the Key Stages, each one consisting of certain year groups until the end of primary education at the age of 11 years old.

Children are taught in their year groups based on their chronological age from 1st September to 31st August.
