We would like to wish everyone at the BJAB a wonderful New Year and all the very best for 2012.
We have an exciting and busy programme for the term ahead and you can see details of events and calendar dates in this month's Newsletter.
Don't forget that clubs will be starting again on Monday January 9th!
We shall be holding our last assembly of the term on Friday morning for a change. It will be a very informal affair; parents are welcome to join us if they are free as we shall be saying a fond farewell to Mrs Lilly, Mrs Walker & Mrs Temmerman as well as two very special young children!
Finally, as everyone leaves for the holidays I would like to wish everyone a Joyous Christmas with family and friends, sharing the message of peace and hope into the New Year.
Best wishes, Diane Perry.Mrs. O’Rourke and her after school drama club have done it again!
This week we were all lucky enough to attend a special performance of the play the drama club had been working on this last half term: “Day Dreams”. In the evening, parents were invited to see their child(ren) perform following only a few short weeks of rehearsals; it was an outstanding production nonetheless!
Drama club will be running again in the Spring Term. It is a popular after school activity, so children need to sign up soon if they would like to participate!
Thank you to the teachers and children in our Kindergarten and Reception classes for their outstanding performance on Tuesday of “C_H_R_I_S_T_M_A_S spells Christmas”. We were all delighted by the singing skills of the children and the incredible acting abilities of some very young performers. Thank you to the teachers for guiding the children in such an excellent performance, costumes and scenery; it was a lovely children’s extravaganza!!
A huge thank you to all the PTA members, teachers and especially Mrs. O’Rourke for their stupendous performance in the BJAB pantomime “Jack and the Bean Tin”. The pantomime, games & festive atmosphere created a superb evening full of humour and entertainment enjoyed by our BJAB families.
