A big thank you to all of the BJAB children and families who supported the Lions Heraldic Club of Brussels 30th Swimarathon. The money raised will be going to 2 special Belgian projects - Nos Pilifs and T’Vosje as well as the Lions Club’s regular projects.

BJAB has participated in the Swimarathon for more than 12 years. Well done, to everyone who took part and to those kind people who donated towards this event. Our school should normally have raised about €1,000!

On Tuesday, 5th March the BJAB School Council will be hosting a school disco evening.

This fun event will have a small admission fee of 2 Euros per person and all the money raised will go to the School-In-A-Box initiative.

‘School-In-A-Box’ was set up by the child welfare organisation UNICEF and this provides a large metal box with lots of school materials; this can be used in troubled countries as a portable school.

The disco party will start at 3.45pm and will end at 5.45 pm. During the party there will be a selection of food and drinks.

Everyone in Years 1 to 6 is welcome to come to school in their disco gear as a special treat. Hope to see you all there!
